Requisitions - SL7 FP1 vs SL7 SP3+++

I have noticed that on a demo system (Contoso Ltd.) on SL7 FP1, the requisitions budget check does not include YTD actuals.. The calculations on the screen are 100%, but not the actual check...

I then upgraded to SL7 SP3, and it 'fixed' the issue...

Has anyone experienced the same scenario/case?

    Timothy Hitchins (Microsoft) replied to this case and had the following to say:

    "This issue look like it is related to bug id 21479. This bug is not corrected in any version of Dynamics SL at this time. The issue is that the calculation for the YTD looks at the beginning period balance ytdbal00. For Asset or Liability accounts that value is populated with the Previous year balance when the year is closed, thus causing the issue. No workaround exists for this at the current time. This Service Request will close as not charged as it is related to a known bug."

    James,

    Over time, there were numerous bugs related around budgeting in the RQ module - I reviewed the bug database and don't see anything specific to this 'fix', so, I suspect it was inadvertently fixed through another bug.

    I'm glad to hear it is 'fixed' in 7.0 sp3.

    Thanks,
