If you are look in to opportunity table in database.Always search table in database with their corresponding entity ends with base.

If you have CRM 2011 then for each customized entity there are two tables

    1)base table =opportunityBase

    2)Customization on opportunity =OpportunityExtension

In the table you have only ownerId but in the view you get ownername

    select OwnerIdName from Opportunity

I'm not very sure, but in the database I would expect this is the field ownerid in the table opportunityBase. That field is a guid and is a foreign key to the systemuserBase table. You need to join those to get the user details.

It's been a while since I accessed the db directly, so I might be off on naming conventions.

    Hi Abdul,

Either use SELECT * FROM dbo.FilteredOpportunity

    or

    SELECT * FROM dbo.Opportunitybase

    fow owner its ownerid

Following blog will help u because you are creating a custom report and you will have to get the owner name instead of owner's GUID
