MR not picking up account category changes

I have a balance sheet report that is using account categories in the row definitions. I changed the account category on some accounts in GP, but MR is not picking them up based on these changed categories. It is still looking at the old category on the account. Any ideas. I created a new category and waited a bit and it showed up in MR.

I was with you up to this point:

When you say it "showed up in MR", I presume that you mean that you used the new Category in your Row Definition and that the Accounts assigned to that Category then appeared in that line of the report, yes?

I also presume that you're using a Datamart. (We don't; that's why I want to be sure.) I was a bit thrown off when you said you "waited a bit" for the new category to show up. That implied the Datamart. But that should also mean that Accounts moved from one Category to another should have been updated in the Datamart, too. I don't see any reason why the Datamart would be updated for new Categories, but not when Accounts move to different Categories.

Nothing more valuable to add up, but I would suggest the following

Refresh cached financial data

In case it is a data mart deployment and just in case the previous suggestion didn't work, I would proceed with Rebuilding the Data Mart,

I created a new category in GP and the account I put in that category showed up on a row in MR. Yes, the datamart is being used. I had the datamart rebuilt and that fixed my issue.
