Hi,

I'm would like to know if there's a possibility for me to update the vendor batch expiry date into system during PO receiving. I perform this by doing registration during PO receiving and the below form will appear.

The issue is, the field I highlighted in the screen shot above are disabled. Are there any parameters/configurations that I can do to allow for these fields to be enabled?

Thank you

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

You need to enable vendor batch registration on item model group:

    Hi Saurabh,

Yes, I do understand that I need to enable this in the Item Model Group for the vendor batch details form to be displayed and I've already done that previously

However, my question was after the vendor batch details form is displayed when performing receiving, how do I enter the vendor batch expiry date? As shown in my example, the field is now disabled and I can't enter any data there.

You need to click on update line > Registration  and while doing registration for internally generated Batch system should ask for vendor Batch

    Hi Saurabh,

Thanks for your reply. However, you're not answering my initial question. Could you take a look at my screen shot? I know how to get access to the vendor batch details form when performing receiving. This is not my question.

My question was, how do I enter the Vendor Batch Expiry date as shown in my screen shot? When I'm accessing this form, this field is not enabled and hence I enter any information into this field. Is there a way to enable this field? Any parameters that I could use?

If above all parameters are done and you are able to register as well... then it should be available for you to update.

I don't see any other reason for this to disable

    Hi Saurabh,

Well the screen shot I shared earlier in this thread is precisely what I'm seeing and therefore, I'm asking if anyone knows if anything can be done to enable the Vendor Batch Expiry Date field. Kindly refer to the below screen show once again and you can see it is disabled.

    Hello Bryan,

Check few things, do you have FEFO Date controlled checked. Try it again with the parameter unchecked, following thread discuss the same not registration through D365. But still might help
