Financial Dimensions on Transfer Orders.

Hi all,

I have an issue at a client where I am unable to draw a solution. We have kept Financial dimensions as mandatory and therefore system doesn't let us proceed without filling dimensions on any form. However, there are no fields to fill the dimensions on Transfer Order. 

I cant even predefine the dimensions on items because we have 50+ stores and each store has different dimensions.

    Hi,

    I believe financial dimensions in Transfer orders is not ooo. You could, however, try to remove the dimensions as mandatory or make the dimensions accept blank values for the GL accounts which are linked to Transfer order in chart of accounts to get around this.

    Thats exactly what I have done using advanced rules. But I believe that’s not the permanent solution.

    Also, can you please guide how this affects the overall financials?

    Correct, standard functionality does not allow specifying financial dimensions of transfer orders. There are few workarounds mentioned in this post: community.dynamics.com/.../financial-dimension-on-transfer-order
