I am slightly familiar with Crystal reports, but have not been able change the font size on our AP checks. Has anyone the steps involved in this process please?

If you want increase the text size of the GP report, use Word Template or Dexterity to modify the report and assigning to appropriate users then run the reports.

You are a GENIUS! That worked, my checks look so much more legible now! Thank you for taking the time to respond to my questions.
It appears that you haven't applied permissions to the modified version of the check. You have to check your Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports setup (Tools->Setup->System->Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports). But first make sure you are modifying the Alternate ID that the target user is assigned to. You can check that in (Tools->Setup->System->User Security).
Anyway, back to the Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports Setup window...I am assuming you modified an out of the box report, so you would find the modified report if you select "Microsoft Dynamics GP" as product and "Reports" as type. Expand the Purchasing node and you would find the report you modified there. Expand the node of the report and you should see the original one and another one with a "(Modified)" right next to it. Select the latter by clicking on the radio button on its left, save it and you're good to go.
Hi - I did not know about the "Text Report" feature. So, I did uncheck that box, closed Layout and went back in (you were right, I had to close it to be able to see the Drawing Options). So, the good news is, I could change the font size in the Drawing Options. Then saved the layout, and the form and then went back to GP. Printed a check, but the font size was still the same. I tried 2 different things 1) re-checked the Text Report box before saving the form and going back to GP, 2) not checking the Text Report box and saving the form and going back to GP. But in either case, my font was still the same size when I printed the check. Is there another step I am missing? Thank you!
How far are you in modifying the report? Have you been able to open the report layout in Report Writer? The default check I believe is a Text Report, and it would not allow font size changes. You can unmark 'Text Report' from the Report Definition window and when you go back to the layout, select the field you want to change the font size of, and then go to Tools->Drawing Options. You may have to close and reopen the layout to enable Drawing Options.
