Hi, If I have merged two records in CRM, is there a function to unmerge?

No. One record (the master) gets updated, the other one gets deactivated. You can find the other record in the 'Inactive' view of the respective records. Find the one your looking for and reactivate it.

Thanks ABLAIR! Will the data that was merged onto master record remain and be 'lost' on reactivated subordinate record? Or be present on both?

The original data that was on the subordinate record will remain. When you reactivate it, the master record is not affected.

Just to be clear, when you merge, any additional information on the subordinate record is copied over to the master, the master does not share any information with the subordinate. The record you reactivate will have its original data, nothing more.

Find the record you are looking for in the list on Inactive [Accounts], open it, select Reactivate.

    Hi...

If you explain in detail what exactly you want then it would be easy for us to address your query ?  There is no unmerge functionality in CRM. Other record can be found as deactivated.

Please explain if you want to accomplish something...

    thanks !
