When a part has a substitute, does the Planning Worksheet take into account the inventory the substitute, ITEM

How does that work. We have checked the Interchangeable selection, however so far the Planning Worksheet seems to ignore the substitute inventory.

RE: Planning Worksheet - Substitute

per my knowledge, planning worksheet doesn't consider substitute, however, the bottom of the Order Planning window shows if substitute exists for selected line. If this is set to Yes, drill down to the substitution list. This is only available for components. Sales line

substitution must be done from the sales order.
