Hello Guys ,

I've been struggling two days ago but , not reached to the desired result.

Our Customer needs to have SSRS report for all audit trail in rows view for each entity and field new , old value

He did not want to use the Audit summary view as he wants to see all changes in the same grid ( inline)

so for example

Date      Entity Name      Field                 Old value   New Value

1/1/2018   contact           First Name      John            John1

1/1/2018   contact           Last Name       Smith          Smith1

...

...

...1/1/2018   Account          Telephone     telepon1   Telephone2

I've googled it , but people talking about enabling this for specific fields and specific entity using the entity fields self.

and I couldn't parse the changed data to understand the old and new values.

I'd like to get  old and new value in the single row

How Can I do that ??

Thanks ,

Unfortunately the platform does not provide sophisticated reporting for Audits.

There are Audit messages in the SDK which you can use to retrieve Audit information and then format the output. It will require some development effort but you will have the complete flexibility to get the data you want, the way you want it.

There is Audit Summary Reporting tool in XRMToolbox which is very helpful and you can extract audit data in csv format.

You will need to send Audit Messages such as RetrieveAuditDetailsRequest and RetrieveAttributeChangeHistoryRequest and write your own custom code.
