I have a client running SL 2011 who is reporting that, when they open a report and go to printer options and select print to a file and then click setup, the print to file dialog box never shows. This is happening on more than one workstation but the same action works fine if done on the application server. No error message is issued but I noticed that SL thinks something is running because, after taking this action you cannot turn on initialize mode even though no SL screens are open nor does the SL task bar show any active screens.
I was curious if anyone has run into this before and found a solution. I tried uninstalling the SL client and re-installing it. I tried a workstation reboot but that did not fix it either.
