Hello,

When user wants to post Warehouse Receipt and posting data is different than on Purchase Order, before posting user gets message like this:

Do you know the way to turn off this message? Warehouse worker should not have opportunity to update any exchange rate or even think about it.
I have the same question (0)

Hi, I've briefly discussed the way to think about this type of problem before. Hopefully the information below can give you some tips.

    Thanks.

    Hi
Is it an onprem or cloud version?
By any chance is there any development around this object and function?

This happens out of the box with no development. Agree it doesn't make much sense for a warehouse worker to have this. But its not possible to turn it off. YUN ZHU's solution is the only option.

The system is asking because when an item is received without invoicing it posts the expected cost to the value entries. It converts the foreign currency amount to the local currency to do this. The foreign currency rate is based on the posting date of the purchase order. If the date on the receipt is changed, the system asks if you want to change the exchange rate as well. If you have expected cost turned on in the inventory setup, then it would post the expected cost to the GL as well, so that's an additional reason the system is asking.
