Installation failed GP2010

Good day community,
I have a problem with the installation of GP2010, when installed near the end of the progress bar, returns the entire installation and displays the message 'installation failed'.
And try to install it in environments (laptop - Win7/Sql2008) and (virtual pc - WS2003/Sql2005)

Look for something similar to this problem, but in all references, if GP is installed, in my case does not finish installing.

    Memory!  Had this happen before and the workstation did not have enough free memory to run the app.

    Please try installing first .NET Framework 1.1 and then the service pack for .NET, also make sure you have turned off DEP (Data Execution Prevention) as well run as administrator (in other case hide or minimize the level of UAC)

    Good day Richard/Francisco,

    Net Framework 1.1 installed with SPK1, the UAC was to a minimum and also attempt to install as local administrator of my laptop.

    When installing I have 1 GB available memory (I have 2 Gb RAM).

    However, the problem continues.

    when you install GP, are you creating the ODBC within the install options or you are telling the setup "Do not create datasource" ? is your windows 64 bit?

    Good day again

    It was possible to install GP2010. Happened to download the Spanish version and installed correctly.

    Not because the English version was not possible to install it. I hope not by operating system components.

    Hello FrankIcon, we were not aware that you were trying to install gp2010 spanish version, I know that before sp1 there was an issue on GP and OS, make sure you used the correct regional settings or some of your components will not work correctly. and since you installed the spanish version you might be end up dealing with another set of possible hurdles if you want to use most of the added components for GP.
