I am trying to understand why someone would like to create PO with closed main account.

Recent development by MS will prevent to submit to workflow if the accounting distribution has issue, for your case it won't allow.

However would love to hear the justification about this ask.

Hi,

Looking at the question it looks like you are trying to create a purchase order with a closed main bank account. A few suggestions as mentioned below:
1. Re-open the main account

2. Also, you might have to reopen the financial periods in which transactions were posted on the main account.

A few questions:

1. Are you referring to Financial dimensions too here?
