Need time of PO Receipt - SQL help please

I need help knowing what tables and fields will help me prove at what TIME an item was received. More like the time the receipt batch was posted for the item.

All tables and reports seem to give are dates with no time of receipt( I can't understand why time isn't in every datetime field).

2016-03-22 00:00:00.000 I know this wasn't received at 12:00 AM since no one was here.

    Hi,

What it sounds like you are needing is more like an audit trail as mentioned earlier. There are three excellent options to choose from to add this functionality.

    Kind regards,

I have been asking myself exactly the same question and never got any rational answer.

This is poor design. In evaluating GP and its competitors, this should be a disqualifier...

From what I've found, GP doesn't tag the time to the majority of the date fields so you'll always see the 00:00:00:000 time indicator for those date fields.  Some tables you will see a DEX_ROW_TS where that will show the time as well as the date.  Unfortunately it doesn't look like the POP or the IV tables for the receipts have the DEX_ROW_TS field in them.

If you really need the timestamp you may need to look in to an auditing tool like Fastpath or Rockton.
