Portal White Screen after clear cache

Dynamics CRM Online issue:

1) After spin up and customization's have been configured, I updated the User Interface by adding images, styles, etc.

2) I went to /_services/about to clear the cache. (I've done this dozens on times in demo instances and clients portals without issue)

3) I then went to the portal to see the updates what I received was a completely white screen.

No errors. No data. No tags, no header.

Nothing.

4) I waited 45 minutes, hoping that it was a cache rebuilding thing and time would solve it.

5) I went back to the portal and still the white page, I opened a MS Support ticket and they looked at the error logs and stated that there was a corruption and/or a file was missing in a default solution. At least we have a cause I thought. I wanted to ask how could this default solution be missing a file? However I couldn't because it was very difficult to understand the support agent.

6) They proceeded to try to work on the issue and now after several more tickets open, we are still without a working portal and now we even have less than a white screen, we get a page cannot be found.

Meaning that the portal has been essentially reset, and we could lose all of our work.

7) Our portal administration area shows that the portal is configured which is great.....

Until...

You open the manage portal section and you see that the entire form is blank our details have vanished.

Q1) What happened to our portal details?

Q2) Any ideas on how to fix this without having to redo all of our work?

Q3) Has anyone experienced these issues and have a successful resolution?

The only saving grace here is that the portal is not live yet.

I have multiple tickets open with MS regarding the issues here.

    Hi Anthony,

What customization you have done so far in order to change the Portal UI Interface?

Did you make any change in Portal Bootstrap.min.css or any OOB Web Template?

    Regards

    Arpit

No customization to the bootstrap or web templates.

I only added a few content snippet values so we can enable and disable features we didn't want.

As well as some minor navigation settings, hiding forums, links and content sections, etc.

    Nothing too major.

My major concern is what happened, why it happened and how to not have it happen again in the future.

Secondly, if we can get back what we want, that would be great.

An Update, We do have a support agent and dev team looking into the issue within Microsoft.

I will update this issue as more information is available.

The team that I work on has also made sizeable form and data / content integrations that we do not want to lose...

Has this been resolved? I'm experiencing the same issue.
