How can I export a duplicate detection rule from one organization to another?

I have an on-premise installation (2011) with three organizations, development, testing and production.  Currently I have created several duplicate detection rules that we have developed on the development environment and now wish to move them to the testing environment.

This function does not seem to appear within the solution and the export/import tool does not include the match codes?  Is what I'm trying to achieve possible or do we have to manually create duplicate detection rules on each environment?

If I'm not mistaken this is not possible out of the box to export/import duplicate detection rules. However I had a look with Scribe (which is a 3rd party specialized data migration/integration tool). Here I saw this entity "duplicaterule"

Maybe with some creativity you could copy the rules over with that rule, not sure though.

Scribe is a great tool, but also has a pricetag. If you have the software, you could give it a try. If you don't have it, you can download a trial on their website.

    Hi Leandro,

A good news, that Microsoft has now introduced this and this is very much possible in CRM 2013 in supported way but not from CRM UI but my a took given in CRM SDK . Please see below blog. I have written a blog on it.
