I am trying to compose some emails using the 'send email' step in a workflow. I'm not using templates, just entering the body of the email in the workflow. I create the HTML email in something else, expression web for instance, preview it in a browser, copy and paste it into the workflow email and everything looks great. The workflow sends an email to gmail, hotmail, everything looks great.
However, apparently yahoo webmail strips out paragraph tags spacing so there is no spacing between paragraphs. No problem, reading online apparently to get around this you just define a css style for <p> and add 1em bottom margin. BUT, how is that possible to accomplish in CRM? You can't put html directly into an email, can't define CSS, etc... How on earth do I make an email look right if I can only paste in html? does anyone have a clue? I tried some plugin that gave you an 'edit source' option, but for email templates only..

Hi Sanjay, unfortunately the standard crm email editor has such limitations especially when you copy the html from other sources its difficult to edit and tweak the formatting. however the Dynamics Marketing Solution has a superior email editor as well as third party addon such as click dimensions that allows AB/ testing to ensure the emails display correctly on multiple platforms and devices. If not you could can use Email Templates instead?
