Hi, That error message "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" is a generic .NET error and often masks the actual root cause. Here's what you can do:
Check the batch job history under Accounts receivable > Inquiries > Batch jobs for more detailed error logs tied to the invoice posting.
If you're posting manually, try to replicate the issue and open Trace parser or look at the Event viewer on the AOS (if on-prem) or through LCS Environment monitoring (if cloud).
Check if there’s any customization or event handler linked to the invoice posting process.
Try posting the invoice in a different legal entity or for a different customer to confirm whether it’s data-specific.
Ensure all required posting profiles, charges, and taxes are set up correctly.
