Field one app closes immediately when work order section is opened.

Has anyone else had a problem where the Field one app closes immediately when work order section is opened. This is on either an iPhone or an iPad connecting to CRM 2016 online.  I've tried other versions of the app like Rosco etc. But none offer the functionality this one is supposed to (if it worked)!

    Hi Carl,

    Yes, it applies to hosted solutions as well.

    The app might be crashing also because the mobile application/project cantains entities or fields that are not found on the server. Once you open up the mobile project in Woodford, you can use the "Validate" button to see any errors.

    Syed, does this apply even if it is the hosted solution?

    I would have assumed it was preconfigured to allow access from the app they supply?

    Hello Carl,

    You need to do the following:

    1) Download Resco Woodford from Resco website and install it in CRM org as a solution.  After the installation is complete then you need to access Woodford by going to Settings->Woodford, this will open a silverlight application. There you need to import a default mobile template.

    2) Secondly you need default mobile template by contacting MS support for Fieldone. You can contact them at

    support.microsoft.com/.../getsupport;tenant=ClassicCommercial&oaspworkflow=start_1.0.0.0&locale=en-us&supportregion=en-us&pesid=15972&ccsid=635808734566812235

    After mobile template is install, publish it at version 8.1 while making sure that the User's security role is allowed to access the mobile project.

    Resync Fieldone mobile app and let me know if you come across another issue.

    Syed, can you give me more information on this, installed Woodford on what? As a solution into Dynamics? As an additional App on my device?

    I have not installed anything other than the app on my phone/tablet and then used it to log into Dynamics CRM online (this is not an on prem install).

    Hello Carl,

    Please confirm if you have installed Resco Woodford and imported the default mobile template in Woodford. As this is required to take full advantage of the mobile feature.

    Michael, it is Dynamics CRM Online (not on Prem) so I don't have any control over the Woodford version. I am a global administrator on our Portal so I don't think it is either of these but thanks for the feedback.

    Verify the following 2 items are:

    1) The user has the correct Security Role(s) in place, to access the mobile project and its' entities.

    2) The version of  the published Woodford project has to be lower than the version of the Fieldone Sky mobile app installed.

    Hi Carl,

    Having the same experience with both desktop app for Windows 10 and with an iPhone. I've raised a support ticket with Microsoft but have not heard anything back myself, did you? I can't even view Work Order Schedules unless I am in online mode and even then when I drill down into the Work Order tab the app crashes
