Dear All ,

I have successfully restored my company database , but i am facing some problem with the currency symbol is not appearing correctly for the reports or inquiry when i run the following inquiry - financial - details and i choose an account of YR currency or EURO i get the the report with the following the currency ID is YR but the Amount and the Symbol next to it is $ .

I have run link checks , but still the problem there .

any help for the same will be appreciated.

I restored Old Dynamics Database and it solved the problem but still don't know why this happening.

Did you check your currency set up to see if the correct currency symbol was assigned to the currency? (Tools >> Setup >> System >> Currency).

In GP assigning the currency symbol is part of the currency setup. Currencies and exchange rates are set up globally for the entire system, they are not specific to each company. All global settings, such as currency setup and exchange rates (and also things like users, user security and smartlists) are stored in the DYNAMICS database (also sometimes referred to as the 'system database'). Only company specific data, like master records for customers, vendors, items, etc. and transactional data is stored in the company database. So what you experienced is expected and by design. Hopefully you restored the old DYNAMICS database someplace else and not over what I had created. If you look in the old DYNAMICS database the tables at which you want to look are

MC00100

MC40200

MC40300

MC40400

MC40401

MC60100

MC60200

Compare what is in those tables to those in the new DYNAMICS datatabase. If there are any changes, update the new to the old.
