Import both contacts and customer

Hello,

I am trying to import contact details but getting error for only 1 filed record name customer name basically it is rename of accounts.

Have verified the filed name customer name on both contacts and customer entity, Customer name field is exist but unable to import.

Please note user cannot do 2 jobs first importing contacts then import customer and it is become issue for primary contacts which need to map manually for all the records.

    Hello Faisal,

    Can you please confirm that there is only 1 customer with name dfds in system including inactive (inactive records participate in lookup operation as well).

    Hi Faisal,

    As the error suggest, you have customer name "dfds" multiple time in your customer entity record.

    you can resolve this by 2 ways :

    1) deleting duplicate  Customer with Customer Name "dfds"

    2) if you don't want to delete the records you can get the guid of the customer name "dfds" that you want to import and place in your excel and then import, it wont show this error.

    Hi Andrew,

    There are 600 customers are on the excel sheets which need to import on the CRM.

    Just for testing i added 1 but even that is not getting import.

    Note : On the customer entity, customer records are empty and have not created any customer. When importing contacts with customer name it should i.e system should create customer on the customer entity.

    Hello,

    I believe you just answered your question. How customer can be looked up if you don't have any of those?

    Create customers first and only after it import contacts.

    Exactly i am doing same now, importing just customers name and then again importing contacts with customer name so the data can match.
