Client requirement is different country they need to have a different product name and different description in different country.

Different country need to show the product description in different languages.

May i know is this doable in D365FO out of the box? How can we achiever this requirement

EG:

There is a distinction between products and released products (= items); that's also why you see Item number and Product number in your screenshot.

Products are global definitions; they aren't specific to a legal entity (company). But items are company-specific and you can set items (for the same product) differently in different companies.

Also, there is a feature that allow you to set up translation of product names. This is useful not just when you're using several companies, but also when you're, say, printing an invoice for a foreign customer.

Are you referring to this translation form?

May i know how to setup the translation?

The language that i added is that follow the language setup in system parameter or the language setup in entity setup or follow the language setup in user account?

I tried to setup but seem like no difference

If you mean the translated name and description if the "Released product" form, it takes the language from system parameters. But if you don't like it, you can make a customization to take it from somewhere else.

Ya, i tested, It takes the language from the system parameters. But i tried, i can't set different system parameters language in different entity.

Mean to say the language set in the system parameter is apply to all the entities. That couldn't solve the problem of to having different item name and description in different entity.

Does it means that it require customization to achieve that? Anyone can share your experience if you have customize this solutioning before

Yes, I agree that system parameters are shared across companies, and I'm saying that changing the logic requires a customization.
