All,

Assets cost was $507.11 on 11/01/2011 peroidic dperciation is 14.13  and LTD Depreciatin shows 28.25.

Original Life is 3 yrs : Depreciation Method : Strainght-Line Orig Life.

This year user says the original cost was wrong and it was 5071.06 we have change cost. We ran depreciation Projection for 01/31/2012 but it give depreciation is 140.86$ we was thinking it will adjust/pass last year depreciation difference but it didn't.

Can someone help me to understand how system do depreciation when cost is changing.

Your earliest reply is highly appreciable.

Thanks
Sandip

Sandip, how the depreciation is recalculated depends on the recalculation method selected when saving the changes in the Asset Book card.  I have an explanation on my blog of how each method recalculates - gp2themax.blogspot.com/.../gptip42day-recalculating-depreciation.html.

    Hope this helps,
