Hello,
I've set up 'n configuration package to import into a Payroll Journal Batch. Dimensions are included in the journal batch..
Excel File
Payroll Configuration Package
General Journal Payroll Batch with Dimension values not pulling through
The problem is:
1) Certain Dimension fields and the values from the Excel sheet are not pulling through to the Payroll Journal Batch. The only value that pulled through is: D_Cost Center (CC): 01. These fields are not pulling through with the values:
D_Class
Dimension Department
Demension_Filed Run
D_Region
D_Process Code
I've tried to use the Code or the Name in the Excel sheet. The Configuration Package settings, 'Dimension as Columns' is checked:
I'm not sure if mapping needs to be set up, as all the columns names are correct in the excel sheet..
Any idea why certain fields and values are not pulling through?
Thanks
Thanks, this helped :-)
Awesome thanks, taking of 'Dimension as Columns, and adding it back did the magic

Hope this helps as well.

Hi,
Did you check on "Dimensions as a column" field on configuration package line?
If this column is ON, downloaded excel may have shortcut dimension field.
I hope this helps you.

1. Does your configuration package have the same number of fields as the excel file you are using? It looks like in the excel file you have 15 fields but in the configuration package you have 214 fields. Best practice is for the configuration package and excel file to have the same number and order of fields.
In the configuration package, if you go to Table -> Fields you can select the fields to include. You can select the fields you would like included here, then export to excel to create a template you can use
2. In your Config. Package Fields page I only see the 'D_Cost Center (CC)' dimension being available as a column.
If you have 'Dimensions as Columns' checked off you would see in this page all your dimensions. For example:
Try taking off 'Dimensions as Columns' and then adding it back and see if you can now see all your dimensions in the 'Config. Package Fields' Page. One scenario is this config. package was created before your dimensions were setup which is why it only contains the one dimensions, refreshing the 'Dimensions as Columns' should update the list of dimensions
