Decimal Point Issue

One of my users has been having this issue where when she hits the decimal point it kicks her to the log in screen when she hits cancel it takes her back to gp but then when she types a number in  again and hit the decimal point it kicks back to the log in screen. The only way i have found to correct this was to log her off and back on. But then as she continues to use it it comes back again. So its something she is doing i just dont know what as i cannot recreate this. Can anyone help?

I wonder if there's a hot key setup that is using the period key?  That's the first thing I would look for.

when i log her off of GP and back on again it corrects the problem but then after awhile she will come back to me and say its happening again. So its something that she is doing. Do i check within GP for this hot key setup or windows?

It would have to be a Windows hot key because you can't select the period key in the list of hot keys available in GP.  Is this a fat-client or thin-client environment?  Could be either a local or remote windows issue.

i don't think that is either fat-client or thin-client they log into GP through a remote terminal session off of a Desktop PC

Our Desktop PC would be Fat Clients

On my laptop, the decimal point key functions as a delete key when the Number Lock is disabled, and my num lock key is right next to my divide by key.

So if your user is a 10 Key aficionado and inadvertently disables the num lock key then hits the decimal key and their decimal key has another function like the escape key, it could cause this type of behavior.
