Hello,

We are working on developing an integration with Dynamics SL and wondering if any Restful APIs are available which we could consume.

Please check out Catalina Technologies (www.catalinatechnology.com).  They have the RESTful API's you are looking for.  I have used them on several occasions.

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at the Catalina APIs. If I understood it properly, this is something developed on top of Dynamics SL and not comes readily available when we do SL setup. I am actually looking for native web services (Soap & Rest) support available in SL which I could leverage on. I read somewhere that Soap is available but didn't get any such info about rest hence this post.

I believe the standard SL Web Services are built around Soap, and not REST, which is why I recommended the Catalina API's.  Other reasons:

    - Catalina has more API's available than standard SL Web Services (which is primarily centered around the Project Series)

    - Catalina has many demos, videos, examples, etc. of their API's on their website, youtube, etc.

With standard SL Web Services, your best resource is the Web Services pdf User Guide, which comes with the SL WebApps software download.  You also get the WebApps Source Code to have the ability to modify the standard WebApps.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how much it costs to use Catalina's API's? Like most online companies these days they don't publish any pricing info.

It depends on what integrations you are looking for.  The API pricing is module based (e.g. Sales Orders, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.), so you can buy them a la carte.  I would suggest contacting them for pricing, you'll be surprised at how reasonable each API will be.
