ReportMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Finance team is excited to announce the General Availability of several new features for our Finance customers and partners.
The Financial dimension service is a microservice add-in for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environments running application version 10.0.30 or greater. It provides improved performance when using the Data management framework to import a General journal that has 500 or more lines and contains only Ledger account types and offset account types. The "General journal" data entity is able to generate the dimension combinations that are specified in the ledger account string field on the journal lines much more efficiently by taking advantage of the microservice architecture
The Optimize year-end close feature empowers Dynamics 365 Finance customers to accelerate their year-end close by moving heavy processing of year-end to a microservice. With an efficient year-end close, the saved time enables each Finance team to react in a timely manner to necessary adjustments, ending in the generation of the financial reports. This release marks the beginning of very exciting times for the Dynamics 365 Finance, allowing us to scale the product for customers with a high-volume of transactions.
The Invoice capture feature will allow customers to digitally transform the entire invoice-to-pay process within their Accounts Payable (AP) department—delivering better spend control, faster cycle times, and paperless processing.
