we have checked the Disc space but we have enough free space available, even we have checked event logs and SQL profile check unfortunately no success.

    RE: Generic SQL Error

    Hi,

You need to activate the CRM Diagnostic Log to enable the log. Try to reproduce, get the log, then you need to analyze the result. There are 2 tools you can used CrmDiagTool.exe & CrmTraceReader.exe. Both are hosted on Codeplex and now already archieved. So if you don't have those tools. You can contact me.

    RE: Generic SQL Error

    Hello Pedro,

I would like to thank you for all your inputs regarding this issue.

Yes we have solved this issue by following the below mentioned steps:

Cause: Based on the traces found that the stored procedure ‘Cascade collect ’ had two unwanted columns.

Resolution: Logged in to the DB of the organization -> programmability -> stored Procedure -> Cascade collect. Removed the columns from the Stored Procedure and executed the query which fixed the issue.

Thanks again for all your help.

    Best regards

    Swap

    RE: Generic SQL Error

    Hello Swap,

If you only re-installed CRM, databases should not be affected, so it might not be a sql issue, either way, you can verify the indexes: technet.microsoft.com/.../ms187874(v=sql.105).aspx

Since you re-installed the CRM, verify if you have the same updates that you had before.

    Cheers!

    Hello Pedro,

    Thanks for your reply.

Requesting you to kindly let me know the steps to be followed to do " Verify if the indexes of CRM Database are fragmented and rebuild them. You can do it directly on CRM Database."

Yes you are right due to this error my workflows( Sync and Async both workflows ) are badly affected.

Note : Everything was working fine earlier however by mistake I uninstall the CRM 2013 from the system.

After that when we reinstall CRM 2013 I started getting this errors.

    Awaiting your response

    Best Regards

    Hello Swap,

Usually, the "Generic SQL Error" means a deadlock on Database.

Verify if the indexes of CRM Database are fragmented and rebuild them. You can do it directly on CRM Database.

And check if you have any plugin or synchronous workflow that are new that could be executed during this action.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

this could be broken full text indexes.

    Try this:

Settings > Administration > System Settings

    chrome_5F00_2018_2D00_04_2D00_08_5F00_12_2D00_59_2D00_44.png

You can enable it after few days and let it rebuild.
