Opportunity Fields used in Global Email Templates

We are trying to use opportunity fields in email templates and they always return blank, while other entities like Leads are working. Does anyone have any advice or know of some configuration to get Opportunity fields to work in global email templates?

Hi,

I don't think there is any entity soecifc configuration or setting. If you are not getting the values then it may be because the values does not exists or you are using a wrong field/ relationship.

I would suggest to check it again.

HI drMurray86,

For testing purpose just try with created on and owner field to get value in template. Don't think so there is any strange.

Also try with email directly without use of template to cross check it. It should work
