Is anybody using this? Does it work well? https://www.bridgepaynetwork.com/rms.html
It seems there isn't many other options left to take EMV cards other than expensive Card Defender Software and this.

Feedback on our first Sound Payments deployment can be found here: Summary of our first deployment of Sounds Payments terminals and payment processing software for Microsoft Dynamics RMS/HQ: www.pospondering.com/.../sound-payments-review-and-experience.html - or contact me at 208-994-9404 or kevina@rite.us (I'll email you as well since it has been some time since we spoke via phone).
Here's a link to a great video that explains Sound Payments and actually has a testimonial from a Retail Realm reseller who recommends the product and recommends other resellers contact him for info. Actually, it explains it the best I've heard so far... I'm sold again, lol https://vimeo.com/277528964
It would be best to contact Sound Payments (Craig Duckworth) or RITE (Kevin Antosh) for pricing and installation fees. RITE has jumped on the bandwagon to do the installation for us, so it's a new process for them. Don't quote me, but here's what I know: it's based on a low monthly equipment lease per terminal, and no transaction fees. Guaranteed next day replacement. Equipment update after 24 months. Retail Realm RMS add-on that incorporates SP into RMS (software included with equipment rental). Includes end-to-end encryption. Tolkenization for automated rebilling. Our equipment has been shipped and will be installed in November. I'll know more after that.
What is their monthly fee? Do you happen to remember the name of that add-on? I do like those Pax machines! Thanks for your wisdom Rick
Hi! I have had several RMS users look at BridgePay but it seems like there are a lot of transaction fees from what I have heard. As for Card Defender, There are over 1700 installations of Card Defender in the US. Card Defender does have some up front costs but no gateway or transaction fees, has the ability to work with multiple processors, and also works with some of the RMS replacement programs like Retail Management Hero and Cloud Retailer.
I've also seen many merchant services companies/processors pay for the Card Defender up front costs in order to keep the retailers/merchants processing businesss.
I am heavily involved with the Sound Payments install that Rick mentioned and will be keeping a close eye on how the Sound Payments solution works with RMS.
Please do let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Best,
Kevin Antosh
Not familiar with BridgePay, but after a lengthy ChasePaymentech certification time we are about to install PAX equipment through Sound Payments on our RMS 2.0 3-store system with HQ. It uses a RetailRealm RMS add-on to open up RMS to the payment system (the RetailRealm add-on comes through SoundPayments). Here's a link: www.soundpayments.com/retail-realm-partners
