We are currently testing prioritization for sales order. 
 
What would be the best route to prioritize locations within the warehouse for picking sales orders?
 
This would be prioritizing between floor locations for item reservation and then work creation.

    Hi,
    You need to evaluate the distance and inventory between different locations, and set the nearest location with sufficient inventory as the higher priority pick target. The urgency of the sales order or the delivery date is also a factor to consider, setting the location priority for products with shorter delivery dates to be higher. Locations where fragile or high-value items are stored can be prioritized to ensure their safety. You can check out this official document: Priority-based planning - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. This article describes the priority-based planning feature of SCM. Each planning priority model has a Priority calculation method setting that controls how master planning applies priority to planned orders.
