Budget Transactions in GP 2010

I've just started playing with these to test the functionality and have noticed what might be a couple of bugs, or bugs in my cranium, not sure which.

1.  When using the Percentage Method to increase or decrease a current budget for a specific account, selectiing 'Increase' actually decreases the budget and vice versa for 'Decrease' - it increases the budget amount.

2.  I can post a budget transaction, but after what appears to be successful posting, the transaction is nowhere to be found in any of the budget transaction tables, although the budget Journal Entry Number increments by 1 after each posting.

Has anyone else experienced such behavior?  This is on 2010 R2 SP2 (build 1627)

Thanks,

I just realized that regarding #1, above, it is bugs in my cranium.  When I did the budget import, I forgot I was importing to a revenue account.  I imported debits to the revenue account instead of credits.  Therefore, when increasing the budget, it was 'adding' credits to my existing debit balance, thereby reducing the balance in that account - duh.

Item #2 is still a question though.

    Thx, Frank

Ignore my original post - more bugs in the cranium - I just realized I had not checked 'Maintain Budget Transaction History' in GL Setup.  One would think that would be checked by default . . .
