PO Approvals workflow routing

Does anyone have any insight on a way to route approvals within in Workflow 2.0 dynamically?  Assuming I have a set of 25 approvers I can see where  I can add 25 conditional workflow steps and route to a distinct approver that way but before travelling that hell road I wanted to see if anyone had found a way to have a single workflow step that could route dynamically.

    You can configure workflow to use the AD Hierarchy to determine the approver. It can be the originators manager, their manager's manager or skip N levels.

    Other than that, no you need to configure the separate steps and conditions.

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for taking the time to confirm this, that was certainly what I was suspecting going through it.  I can see where a hierarchy would work for PO Approvals but it's worth little for AP approvals (I'm being nice, worthless actually) as the originator is an AP Clerk more than likely.
