GP and CRM

I'm trying to setup CRM 2016 on premise to work with dynamics GP on prem.  we currently have all our products and pricing levels setup in GP.  do I still need to populate CRM with accounts, products, pricing etc....or is there some type of connector that can pull that in from GP?  or do I need to export the same data from GP then reimport into CRM?

are there any documents on this type of integration that I should be reading?  any suggestions are much appreciated.

thanks

There is a connector for integration between Dynamics CRM and GP. You will need customersource access to download the connector. Here is the link to the msdn article, which contains links to the actual connector on the mbs site:
    https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dynamicsconnector/2014/12/04/connector-for-microsoft-dynamics-v3-cu-4-released/

Please note that the connector is being deprecated and CRM 2016 is the last release that it will be supported.

There is also an instance adapter for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which is available on GitHub, if this helps you.

Personally, we use SSIS and KingswaySoft for integrating between GP and Dynamics CRM, especially since the connector will not be supported in future releases. Not sure if something else is going to replace it.

Good luck, and hope this helps.
