'Assigning' opportunities to owners: settings

Good morning, I can assign opportunities to owners (using them as a reminder), but I see no result following. I would like to have assigned opportunities to be sent in to Outlook an preferably with a reminder opportunity.

Pleas advise, very welcome.

Hi Chris,

You could create a basic workflow that would send an email that would be triggered anytime the oppotunity is assigned to a new owner.
