Consolidation Company and fiscal year

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to re run a consolidation, but when I try it show me the following error message

"You must create a new fiscal year in the consolidated company."

The first time I run it I had the fiscal year open but now i got it closed, why is this happening?

should I have the fiscal year open in the consolidation company?

    This error happens because when you run the consolidation function in a closed fiscal year it will check in the Accounting Periods page if you have future fiscal years after the consolidation period open.

    It will check if you have two lines that have the 'New Fiscal Year' field set as yes and the 'Closed' field set as no. Based on your screenshot you only have only one such line (7/1/2022).

    To fix your error create a new fiscal year for 2023 and running the consolidation for your date range (7/1/2021 to 6/30/2022) should work.
