How to update the termed date of a contract that is termed already?

Hello,

I have a user that termed a contract, but put in the incorrect termed date. Is there a way to change the date so it reflects the correct termed date? The contract record seems to be read only now.

few options with which you can update records even when read only.

1. Excel Export - Update - Import back

2. Console Application

Another approach would to be to use workflow to change the status to active and update fields and change it back.

I can't export for reimport because the status is read only.

what do you mean by Console Application?
