Precision Field parameter in Odata metadata feed from business central

I have added a custom page and published it as a web service.

While seeing the Odata metadata only the Scale variable is passed in metadata as below,

Is there a way to get the Precision parameter in the OData metadata as below for the decimal field in Business Central?

I have tried to add the AutoFormatExpression and DecimalPlaces properties in the source table code Still the Precision is not reflected in Odata metadata.

Hello there!

I found this an interesting topic. I did a dummy test and did some research, and I'm afraid it may be due to Business Central's internal handling of decimal fields in OData, so we can't control it at that level.

The second image shows a metadata that does not appear to be BC.

So in summary mode the answer is that you can't handle that way the Scale for decimals in Odata BC.
