Hello everyone,
 
Our company wants to setup a cash flow forecast and we are wondering what the preferred method is within the BC community. 
 
Do you prefer to use the BC module for cash flow or are there any plug-ins that are good? 
 
Any suggestions are welcome.
 
Our company policy is to stay as close as we can to base BC

    refer to the below link to set up cash flow in BC. You need to explore out of box BC cash flow functions before considering a 3d party app.

    The answer to this (as always) will come from the business requirement.
     
    The standard CF module can be quite a nice fit if the business is running on value streams that are being served by the standard CF Worksheet source documents.
    Try the standard! Use the Manual options for the streams not covered by integrated documents (rent, wages,...)
     
    Consider 3rd party solutions when...
    - large amounts of cash are moving on streams not covered by CF Worksheet : f.i. large verical solutions generating documents that generate cash, on (posted and unposted) customized document-types
    - payment installments are customized not using Customer/Vendor ledger entries
