Thanks a Lot YUN ZHU  i want to discuss my scenario with you what i want

but major problem is that when page is open how we can store value against each sales line record i.e. which sales line record selected and store value against them
and then post my custom page into sales shipment line. for example work as item tracking lines where we add serial number and lot no etc.
simply i just want to add serial number in the time of sale order manually.

can you provide any guidance for this

Hi, is it not possible to use Dimensions directly to manage your data? This is a standard feature. And it can be automatically transferred to posted documents.

If you want to develop a new table, you can save Document Type, Document No., Line No. These data can also be found in Posted Sales Shipment. I think it would be easier to relate through them.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
