    Hello,

This is a question for partner / customer community. The combination has not been verified / tested by Microsoft.

    Thanks.

Hi, I have used NAV2009 R2 on Windows 10 and there is no problem. But I haven't tried it on Windows 11.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I have a customer on NAV 2009 R2 and on Windows 10. However, they are reimplementing to Business Central to start using all the new Office integration and functionality. The big concern is that NAV 2009 R2 is on a Server that at some point the SQL Version will not be compatible.

    Thanks,

    Steve

The client does launch on Windows 11 - upgraded from Windows 10.

Not tried a fresh install on Windows 11 but doubt there would be a problem.

    Regards

It looks like new installations of NAV 2009 R2 are no longer compatible with Windows 10 or 11.

We have hundreds of computers running Windows 10 and all previous installations of NAV 09 are working completely fine with no issues. However, around the time 22H2 was released (first part of October 2022), we are no longer able to install it on anything running 10 or 11. Upon trying, the installer will act like it is starting to load and then nothing will happen. This same thing happens whether we try to run the installer locally, off a network share, off a flash drive, as an administrator, or even in compatibility mode. We also tried this on Windows 11 a few times and got the same result.

There was one time we were able to get an error message about SQL 2005 "This app can't run because it causes security or performance issues in Windows" but have never seen that message since then.
