We send an salesinvoice from our system to our customers. Since a short while the attachments has two pages. The first page is the original salesinvoice and the second page is a copy salesinvoice. Does anybody know why this is? And how get back to just 1 page with the original salesinvoice.

    Has your sales invoice report been customized to include a copy?
     
    There used to be a standard way to control the number of report copies, but Microsoft removed that feature. Now you need custom code or a custom layout to include multiple copies. That may be what happened here.

    Hello,
     
    Your invoice PDF suddenly shows 2 pages because the invoice report layout was changed to print an Original + Copy.
    Fix it by checking one of these:
     
    Report Selection – Sales → “No. of Copies” must be 0
     
    Switch back to built-in layout in Custom Report Layouts
     
    Remove any recent custom report that adds a copy page
     
     
    Once the layout is corrected, the attachment goes back to 1 page.

    The most common reasons:

     
     
     
    1. Report layout was modified (RDLC or Word) and now includes a “Copy Loop.”
       
    2. A developer added a copy loop in the report code (CustCopyLoop, CopyText).
       
    3. The code is incorrectly mapped, so it may run as many times as the number of sales invoice line or can be dependent on the count of any other datasitem.

    I suggest you first check if this report from the web also results in two pages using the following method.

    Hello,
     
    Your Sales Invoice now has two pages because the report layout or settings were changed to include both an original and a copy in the same print job—this can happen due to modified RDLC/Word layouts, updated extensions, or settings like “Number of Copies” in Document Sending Profiles or Report Selection – Sales.
     
    To fix it, check these settings and ensure only one copy is configured, and if using a custom layout, remove any logic that prints a duplicate page. Retention of a single page requires reverting these changes or restoring the original layout.

    Just FYI these settings don’t exist in the system.
