Production Order Unit Conversion

Hi,

I have an item (ItemABC) with a Prod. Order replenishment. This item has two UOM (i.e. KG - default & Liter). In the Production BOM, the UOM I am using is the Liter. I created a production order for the ItemABC with a quantity of 1000L. I wonder, in the production journal, when I tried to input item tracking it gives me 1,030 but the actual output should be 1000L. I wonder why D365BC does not accept the 1000L as actual output. Any input? Thank you in advance.

If there is 30 extra is that 30 extra litres? Could be that you have a scrap associated which means it just amplifies the total stock that will be used. Scrap is set on the item, BOM or routing.

    Hello,

Adding to Josh's reply... Check your Production BOM:

    or Routing:

Hope this helps. It is common that this scrap factor creates this differential.

    Thanks,

    Steve
