Commerce scale unit licensing with eCommerce tier add on

If our client has the eCommerce tier 1 addon that includes the entitlement to 1 Commerce Scale unit Cloud do they also have to buy the Commerce Scale unit - basic license?

They were previously advised that they need to have the commerce scale unit- basic license.

The commerce scale unit is included in the e-commerce license and doesn't have to be procured separately. Based on the license tier selected, a proportionally sized CSU will be provided with that.
