Disabling Next Stages and Not just Certain Fields

Hello all,

Is there a way to disable the whole next stages and not just specific fields? For example, in case management we have Identify, Research and Resolve stages. Is it possible to completely disable Research and Resolve stages using business rules or javascript until filling in the required fields in Identify stage then saving the form? I stress again I do not want to disable fields but rather disable the whole next stages so they become inaccessible. Thank you

    Ok I have just learned that it is not possible to disable a stage

    Hi Ashraf,

     I don't think Xrm namespace has any methods for that. You can probably go unsupported route and figure out how to hide those stages through the DOM model, but I would not do that.

     Sure you can stop users from activating those stages till all the required fields have been populated, but that's, likely, not what you are asking about:
