Hello all,

I'm trying to find a way to correct Product Receipt journal when product has been receipt through Warehouse management app.

Unfortunatly I get the following error message when I try to make the correction in D365 :

"The product receipt correction cannot be processed. The product receipt only contains items subject to warehouse management processes, as these are not supported by product receipt correction."

At the moment, the only workaround I have is:

- Transfer the products to the receiving location

- Cancel the product receipt

- Correct the information

- Create a new product receipt

Hello Emmanuelle,

I think the only option is to transfer it back to the receipt location and then cancel and repost the product receipt. I found also an idea on the ideas portal: https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=bfba3083-f64b-ee11-a81d-6045bd7921c1

In D365 , product receipt correction is not supported for items received via the Warehouse Management app. To fix this, you must first move the items back to the default receiving location, cancel the product receipt, and then repost it with the correct details

as you mentioned, that’s the only supported workaround today in D365 when dealing with items received through the Warehouse Management app. The system doesn’t allow direct corrections because once warehouse work is completed, the inventory is no longer at the dock, so the correction logic can’t reconcile the movement.

You can enable this parameter as well; when warehouse work is canceled, it will automatically unregister the receipt.
