Hi All,

I am getting this error during "Post packing slip" operation. I have inventory on hand but still it is not letting me post packing slip.
Can anyone let me know what setup I need to adjust or where I went wrong while configuration?

Quantity C100-008084 cannot be picked for item 0.00, -1.00 is physically available. Check on-hand.

Inventory transactions with a quantity of 1.00 attached to reference Output order, C100-000009 exist.

Insufficient inventory transactions with status On order, Reserved ordered, Reserved physical and Picked.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
I am replying with delay for this question, please let us know whether the issue is resolved or not as of now. Or you are still struggling for this error. Generally if everything seems fine and still we are getting such error related to Inventory status, we tried for using System consistency check or for specific cases, some periodic tasks > Clean job helps. Trying to share my experience, in few scenarios i was able to resolve this issue using the below option:

    Good day,

Could investigate whether an output order exists? If so, can you delete it and try to post the packing slip again?

    Best regards,

    Packing Slip Issue

    Hi,

The error you're encountering during the packing slip posting in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management typically points to a mismatch between inventory availability and reservation status. Here's a breakdown of the issue and how to resolve it:

    Error Explanation

    • The system reports that -1.00 is physically available, which suggests that the item has been over-reserved or incorrectly picked.

    • The reference to an Output order indicates that inventory might be tied to a warehouse process that hasn't been completed or properly updated.

    • The message also highlights that there are no sufficient inventory transactions in statuses like On order, Reserved ordered, Reserved physical, or Picked.

    •

    Recommended Actions

    1. Check Inventory Transactions:

      • Go to the Inventory transactions for the item and sales order.

      • Verify the status of each transaction and ensure that the quantity is correctly reserved and picked.

    2. Review Output Orders:

      • Navigate to the Warehouse management > Output orders.

      • Confirm that the output order linked to the sales order has been processed correctly and that picking is completed.

    3. Adjust Reservations:

      • If the item is over-reserved or incorrectly picked, you may need to cancel the reservation and re-reserve the correct quantity.

      • Use the Reservation form to manually adjust or release reservations.

    4. Inventory Recalculation:

      • Run an inventory recalculation to correct any discrepancies in physical and available quantities.

    5. Warehouse Setup Review:

      • Check if the location directives, work templates, or reservation hierarchies are causing unintended behavior.

    6.

Resolving this issue usually involves aligning the inventory status with the expected warehouse operations and ensuring that all transactions are properly processed.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Daniele
