Shipping Method / Dataverse Freight Terms v Shipping Method / Shopify Shipment Methods

We have a

BC>Sales Dataverse for Shipping Method that couples (default) to Freight Terms (using incoterms) 
BC>Shopify Shipment Method now set as incoterms 

From my understanding there are "flexible" options for shipment method, depending on user requirements

It seems the relationship between codes form Shopify / Dynamics Sales differs greatly as to the meaning for "Shipping Method" 

Has anyone set a method that works both in Dataverse / Shopify ?
