Is there a keyboard shortcut to return to Role Center in Business Central?

I am looking for shortcut to return to role center.

When working deep in various documents (sales orders, purchase invoices, etc.), is there a built-in keyboard shortcut to quickly return to the main Role Center page?
Currently, users have to click the back button multiple times.

Please let me know if there is any solution for it.

There is no standard shortcut ,

1) you can duplicate tab keep home tab always open and move to home tab

Or

create AL customization action button in tabs to open role center page extending role cneter

action(GoHome)
{
Caption = 'Go to Role Center';
ApplicationArea = All;
ShortcutKey = 'Ctrl+Shift+H';
RunObject = Page "Your Role Center Page";
}

Hi,

As far as I know, there’s no native keyboard shortcut that jumps directly to the Role Center. You can check all the keyboard shortcuts here - Keyboard Shortcuts - Business Central | Microsoft Learn

However, you can use the following options:

If you're on any page that wasn’t opened through Tell Me (search bar), you’ll see the Company Name at the top-left of the screen. Clicking it will always take you back to the Role Center.

My preferred workaround: In the browser’s URL, simply remove everything after Company=<CompanyName> and press Enter. This will automatically load the Role Center page every time. Just keep the URL to what I have shown in the below screenshot.

Hi,

There's no keyboard shortcut to the Role Center when coming from documents such as sales orders. But you could go to the "Role Explorer" by clicking Shift+F12 - from there you can go to the Role Center.

There's no keyboard shortcut but best practice is to save/bookmark at your browser RoleCenter/home page for user:

Hello,

There is no “return to Role Center” shortcut in Business Central.

Use a browser bookmark as the quickest workaround.

Hi @AGBT900,

Agreed with above experts responses.

In BC, there is no built-in keyboard shortcut that directly takes you back to the Role Center from deep inside documents like sales orders or purchase invoices. The navigation is designed to follow the back button approach.

However, as suggested by YUN, you can submit this idea but I will definitely vote for this.

Hi,

There is no built-in keyboard shortcut in Business Central to jump directly back to the Role Center. You can add your Role Center as a bookmark for quick access.
