User of Return Action field on Procurement & Sourcing Parameters

Hello Experts,

I am starting to learn procurement & Sourcing module in D365 Supply chain Mgmt. I came across this field 'Return Action' on setup which will default on purchase Return Order Lines. What is the use of this field? Is it just a disposition action?

    Thanks Sourav. Actually i was just looking what role this field play or why users needs to fill this field in Return Purchase Orders.

    Hello aasghar,

    We select the 'Return action' to specify the reason why we are returning the item along with the RMA number.

    So, if the management decides to see the reason for the return, they can simply check directly in that document and identify the return reason through return action.
